At Hipes Law LLC, we are trial lawyers who devote our practice to executives and professionals, both as individuals and on behalf of the companies they run. We represent executives and professionals in disputes and negotiations with their current, former or potential employer, group association, corporation, partnership, university, or other business entity. Examples of our clients include corporate executives, managers, doctors, lawyers, accountants, professors, CEO's, CFO's, COO's, administrators, and others in a wide variety of employment and business matters. For example, we help with disputes or issues connected with employment contracts, noncompete agreements, or severance packages; business contracts; fraud; breach of fiduciary duty; tortious interference with business or contractual relations; negligent retention; employment discrimination on the basis of age, sex, pregnancy, race, religion, national origin, disability or military status; attempts to enforce or escape noncompete contracts; business theft of confidential information or trade secrets; and many other related issues. We also fight for religious and medical freedom and support a person's right to choose or decline a medical procedure, the right to choose or decline covid or other vaccines, and related issues. We are strong advocates for and in Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanisms, and believe resolution can often best be accomplished by negotiation, mediation or arbitration.
